The smooth plate can be used on the de Buyer Swing 2.0 and the de Buyer Vantage mandolin 2017.30. The plate has the exact size of the grater cut-out and can be clicked in the mandolin at the time that the graters are not used. This allows to use the mandolin for slicing and cutting julienne.
