Knivesandtools is the name used for international websites in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Austria. Knivesandtools.co.uk, like all other domains mentioned above, is a part of KATO Group BV, located in Apeldoorn. Knivesandtools was founded in 1999 and focuses on selling top-quality knives and tools online.

1. Placing an order
All orders are placed online either via our website www.knivesandtools.co.uk, or when contacting our customer service department via phone.
2. Shipping and Delivery time
Our warehouse is located in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. All products are shipped from this location. Every product listed on the website has a stock label indicating if a product is in stock and ready for shipment or not. Orders to the United Kingdom are shipped with UPS and normally take 3-5 business days to arrive.

|Regular shipping: Shipping will normally take 3-5 days, but may take up to 14 days! The costs depend on the order value and is automatically recalculated when you add items to the shopping cart.

3. Prices and VAT
Prices listed on the website are in British pounds and include VAT, fees and charges. Customers from the Channel Islands, with the exception of Jersey and Guernsey, do not pay VAT at knivesandtools.co.uk, but will have to pay local VAT upon delivery.
All tools listed on knivesandtools.co.uk enhanced with an 18+ logo are only sold to people aged 18 or over. By placing an order and accepting our terms & conditions you declare that you are at least 18 years of age. We may ask you to provide us with proof of identification before we ship your order.
All orders containing products that are labeled 18+ will be shipped with a mandatory identification/age check upon delivery and require an adult signature.
If you are unable to offer sufficient proof that you, as recipient and creator of the order, are at least 18 years of age or older, UPS will take the package and return it to Knivesandtools in the Netherlands. If you are not at home during the initial delivery attempt, UPS will try again later or send the parcel to a pick-up point. In either case, you must be able to identify yourself and prove you are at least 18 years of age or older. If you are unable to do so your parcel will be returned to Knivesandtools. Please note that we may charge you, the customer, for any expenses made during the return process.
5. Returns and Refunds
We want to make sure that the products you've ordered live up to your expectations. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, you can return your order for a full refund* within 30 days of delivery, in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
*Please note: we may ask for compensation if a product you return can no longer be sold as a new product because it has been used or is damaged.
If you want to return your order, kindly reach out to us at [email protected] for comprehensive packing and shipping instructions. Our customer-friendly return option ensures a smooth process with no unexpected expenses. You return orders at your own risk and we do not cover any return costs.
Kato Group BV cannot be held accountable for missing or damaged returns and products. As such you should always wrap your return with care. We recommend using the box it came in. Also return accessories or promotional items.
We will always credit you the same way you paid us (ie credit card or wire transfer) You will receive a refund within 14 days after we have received the return shipment.
Damaged or defective items
If you receive a damaged or defective item please let us know via [email protected]. In most cases we will ask you to return the product for further inspection. After inspection we will either replace, repair or refund the product. You will never be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.
All items on our website come with a warranty of at least 2 years, even though the manufacturer limits this warranty to 1 year. We say ‘at least’ because there are brands who offer a longer period (e.g. Fenix, Eden).
6. Local Laws and Regulations
Every country has its own laws when it comes to knives and other items. When you order from knivesandtools.co.uk you agree to being fully accountable for importing the ordered item(s) to the county of destination. Knivesandtools is not liable when and if items are confiscated by authorities.

Kato Group B.V. uses the latest encryption technology to keep your credit card information safe. For it we rely on well-known companies such as SaferPay. We do not store any of your Creditcard information. (for more information, please check our cookie statement)
When making a purchase at knivesandtools.co.uk, you can choose to submit your Creditcard information in a secure mode using SSL encryption – the internet standard for secure transactions.
Your order information and purchase history are listed in your account and protected by a password of your liking. If you forget your password, let us know so we can send you additional information to reset your password.
