The EZE-LAP Base6 magnetic sharpening stone holder is made from sharpening stones that are 15 x 5 cm large. Without a holder you often sharpen too close to the surface the stone is placed on. Not great: the height is limited and sometimes you don't have enough room. This is no longer the case with the Base6. You place the sharpening stone in the holder and elevate the sharpening surface. With it you sharpen a little further from the table or countertop which is great.
