The Gränsfors Bruk Small Splitting Axe 441, small splitting axe is used for splitting medium-sized firewood. This axe is expertly forged and the axe head features a concave grind. This means that the edge is very thin, but further away from the sharp edge, the axe head is quite thick. This ensures that the axe head will cleaves through the wood. The thicker section behind the cutting edge then effectively pushes the wood apart, making splitting wood effortless.
