The **Kelly Kettle Trekker** is a fast kettle for outdoor use. It excels in terms of speed, and the limited amount of fuel it needs. A couple hands full of branches, dry grass, pine cones or other fuel is enough to boil 0.6 litres of water in mere minutes. Great when you go camping, fishing and hiking, but also in your backyard for that outdoor experience. Due to its compact size you can easily take this tactical pen with you. 

The Kelly Kettle is so fast at boiling water because the water reservoir is positioned around the hot chimney. As such the contact surface is very big and the distribution of heat very efficient. 

You use the Kelly Kettle by adding combustible material to the firebase. Make sure that the aeration hole is facing the wind so that the small campfire is quickly exposed to more oxygen. Then you light it and place the filled Kelly Kettle on top of the firebase. Due to the chimney effect and the air hole in the firebase, this stove automatically draws in air. Like the famous *rocket stoves*. As such combustion is efficient and very hot. It is very important **not** to add the rubber stop to the Kelly Kelly during use.

Within minutes, depending on the quality and fuel of the fire, the water will start to boil. Afterwards you use the handle to lift it off the firebase. By pulling the chain of the stop you tilt the kettle to pour the boiling water. Do be careful.

This Trekker edition of the Kelly Kettle has a content of 0.6 litres. This doesn't seem like a lot, but this also means you can quickly boil some more water. It is made from aluminium. This is a lot lighter than the version made from stainless steel. Aluminium, however, is not as strong as stainless steel. Conveniently, the firebase can be stored upside down in the bottom of the kettle to save space. The Kelly Kettle comes with a simple carrier bag.

This version of the Kelly Kettle was assembled with the help of laser welding, and not, like its predecessors, with rivets.
