This Le Creuset casserole from the Fonte émaillée collection is made from solid cast-iron. It is a robust, top-quality pan that will last for generations. You can do a lot with this cast-iron pan. Cooking, frying and stewing on all types of cooking hobs. Baking in the oven, over an open flame or even in a wood burning oven. You can even prepare cakes in this enamel pan. The pan is also great for keeping dishes cool in the fridge or freezer. As such you could, for instance, use it as a serving dish on a hot summer's day.

Expectations
I own one of these (in a different colour) and bought this for a wedding present for my god daughter. Very good quality pans, a delight to use if you like heavy cast iron pans as I do. The price was so good that I was nervous that this might be a fake, but it is the genuine article. Delivery was very rapid considering it was shipped from the Netherlands. Generally impressed by the service. They contacted me to know why I hadn't gone through with the order initially , and addressed my concerns that the product might not be Le Creuset, as the colour had a different name. I was encouraged by this to go ahead, and am pleased to have found the firm
