The Lion Sabatier Idéal Périgord mini santoku 13 cm is a small santoku for cutting up meat, fish, vegetables and herbs. No kitchen knife series is complete without a santoku, the Japanese version of a chef's knife. The dimples in the blade ensure that no ingredients stick to the blade. The pakkawood handle makes this knife not only practical, but also very graceful.

It is sharp and does look well, but I should have checked depth of blade. I would go for a thicker blade to protect my fingers for fast chopping. But lovely knife if for cheese or occasional use
