This Müller Biber Dynam-ax 2000g dynamic splitting axe has a well thought out design. The head is attached to the handle with a screw, creating a little bit of leeway. Sound like a bad idea, especially for an axe, but for this Dynam-ax it makes sure the blows are absorbed. The head also contains a rubber layer, that reduces the vibrations. As such you relieve your joints with this axe.
