Ochsenkopf splitting axe Spalt-Fix Rotband-Plus, OX 648 H-2508

Had some serious logs to split and this gem made light work, a dream to use all round.

A solid and effective splitting maul. Works well on the tougher knotty or large rounds which some of my lighter axes struggle with. Well made with a decent length handle and an effective overstrike collar. I’ve also used the Stihl badged version but the price of the original makes it much more appealing!
