This **Skottsberg The Original Stainless Steel 532656 wok 28 cm** is a shiny stainless steel wok pan that is beautiful and low-maintenance. This 28-centimetre diameter stainless steel wok will allow you to cook Asian cuisine and sauces for 2 to 4 people.

## Skottsberg stainless steel pans

The advantage of stainless steel pans is that they can also be used to prepare acidic sauces or gravy, something you would rather avoid with carbon-steel pans with a natural non-stick coating. These pans are Tri-ply pans, meaning they have a core of aluminium sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel. Like all pans from Skottsberg, these pans do not have a synthetic non-stick coating. Skottsberg's range of stainless steel pans consists of frying pans and woks. 

## How to use Skottsberg stainless steel pans

Skottsberg's stainless steel pans have an extra-thick bottom of 2.5 millimetres that can withstand high temperatures. This makes them great for frying and roasting vegetables, fish, meat, pancakes or even a sandwich. Even acidic dishes and sauces are no problem for this pan. You can use this pan on any heat source or put it in the oven, provided you warm it up gradually. The convenient thing about these stainless steel pans are also that they're dishwasher safe. So easy! The outer layers are made from 18/10 stainless steel, while the core is made of aluminium. These three layers run all the way to the edge of the pan which ensures that your ingredients will be heated evenly and that there will be no hotspots. 

## Skottsberg stainless steel pan: maintenance

The pans from Skottsberg's stainless steel range are low-maintenance. Unlike cast iron and carbon steel pans, stainless steel pans are dishwasher safe. If necessary, clean the pan with a sponge. The stainless steel pans do not need to be seasoned.
