The **The James brand - The Wayland** is a modern interpretation of the classic Barlow pattern. One of the most famous and most popular traditionals. The classic pocket knives your grandfather used to carry. This Wayland is totally up to date thanks to the sleek lines and modern materials.

You open the Wayland with two hands. And a slipjoint prevents it from accidentally closing during use. Not a real lock, merely some resistance. This means you can legally carry the Wayland in many places in Europe. The liners and bolsters are made from titanium. This is a lightweight material that is also commonly used in the aviation and aerospace industries.

The materials used for this pocket knife are very modern. The blade is made from CPM S35VN. This is a premium type of steel that was developed in cooperation with several prominent American knife makers. It retains its sharpness for a long time, is relatively tough and easy to sharpen.
