The Wicked Edge set of diamond sharpening stones, extra fine 1500 and Blank Glass Platens are two sharpening stones for the Wicked Edge sharpening systems. The sharpening stones are comprised of a plastic base with a diamond-coated sharpening stone and a glass platen on top. On the green side, the sharpening stone is 1500 grit, and the white side is a glass platen where you can stick different lapping films to polish your knife.

Expectations
The 1500 stones are a great step on from the 1000 grit diamond stones and with the ability to add lapping film to the glass side, it is a step closer to a mirrored edge. Not that a mirrored edge necessarily means sharper, but it sure does look nice!
