This 5-piece Wüsthof Gourmet knife set in a knife roll is the perfect starter set for anyone starting out as a cook. The Wüsthof Gourmet series has been specially developed for novice chefs: the quality you are used to from Wüsthof, but at a more affordable price. This set is a great starting point for a budding chef. The chef's knife has a blade of no less than 23 centimetres, ideal for performing large cutting tasks. For smaller cutting jobs, use the 16 or 10 centimetre utility knives. A useful boning knife is also included in the set. Use the honing steel to maintain your knives. All products are delivered in a handy knife roll, so you can safely store and transport the knives.

Great knife set. One thing to note is that the Wüsthof Gourmet utility knife (16 centimeters) is actually a flexible knife. I missed this when ordering. The knife is flexible and can bend quite a bit. Wasn't expecting this. Still a good knife, but not as sturdy as the others so need to be careful what you are using it to cut/chop/carve, etc.
