This Zassenhaus bamboo cutting board is practical in use. You can use both sides of this cutting board because it doesn't have feet. Once side is enhanced with a gap to collect moisture and crumbs. The other side is completely smooth.

Expectations
Board was cracked/split on delivery (purchase was refunded by knivesandtools thankfully). Overall quality was also rather disappointing, although I accept it was a relatively cheap item. Had I kept it I would probably have felt the need to sand and then oil it before use.
