In this award-winning design, the blade runs horizontally through the black plastic handle. Which is therefore very beautifully interrupted. That handle is seamless and attached to the blade without rivets. The handle feels very comfortable. The bolster of the blade provides a good balance and protects your index finger, which logically falls behind the curve and therefore will not accidentally slip and hit the edge.
