This **BeaverCraft SK1 spoon knife** is a great wood carving knife for hollowing out spoons and cups. The radius of the blade is approx. 25 mm. As such it is a relatively small spoon knife. Perfect for smaller spoons and cups, or simply for smaller cutting movements.



Please note: this is a left-handed knife.


The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.



The handle is made from ash wood. A strong type of wood that is also used for axe handles. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!

Dit mes voor linkshandigen bevalt uitstekend. Goed scherp en een prettig handvat.  Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Good for right handed people if they want to carve bowls, cups or spoons in a movement away from the body.

Hij is vlijmscherp en dus ook handig voor het maken van lepels. Als je nooit een lepelmes hebt gebruikt moet je wel even oefenen en je snijdt jezelf snel. Gelukkig zijn er 2 pleisters bij geleverd ;)

Erg tevreden over het lepelmes van Beavercraft. Mooi, solide handvat en lemmet. Het mes voelt degelijk aan en ligt voor mij goed in de hand. Vlot geleverd, duidelijke communicatie van K&T! Dankjewel en tot de volgende order.
