This **BeaverCraft C14 Whittling Knife** is a practical wood carving knife. Great for all-round use, but also larger cutting tasks and to create thin curls. The tip is pointed for the detailed tasks. Because of the sheepsfoot-shape of the blade you can apply controlled pressure with your thumbs as you use the knife.



The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.



The handle is made from ash wood. A strong type of wood that is also used for axe handles. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!

Very affordable. Sharp out of the box, easy to sharpen. God quality 

Ik vind het mes een beetje tegenvallen, ook dit mes van Beavercraft bij levering niet voldoende scherp.

Ik had nog wel een wensenlijstje voor meer houtsnij messen, maar of dat Beavercraft gaat worden? Misschien had ik gewoon pech, maar mijn vertrouwen in het merk heeft nu wel een deuk.

Precies het mes wat mijn dochter graag wilde. Ze was er echt blij mee. En snel geleverd!
