## About the C2 wood carving knife


The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.



The handle is made from ash wood. A strong type of wood that is also used for axe handles. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!

Mooie set, met alles om te beginnen met houtsnijden. Het mesje is heerlijk all round en er zit goed hout voor een eerste project bij. 

Op zich een prima setje, het mes is goed en je kunt direct aan de slag. Toch is de ervaring teleurstellend als je een product voor beginners verwacht. Via een QR code krijg je weliswaar toegang tot wen video, maar dat is geen echte tutorial met uitleg maar een professional die in korte tijd laat zien hoe hij het aanpakt. Dat is een leuke demonstratie maar helpt je niet om een mooi resultaat te krijgen. Ik beveel deze set voor beginners niet aan.

Snelle levering. De BeavereCraft Wizard Carving Hobby Kit voldoet niet geheel aan de verwachting omdat de Video Tutorial, in het bijgeleverde boekje middels QR-code, niet te bereiken is. Nu zelf maar wat aanwijzingen op internet gezocht om toch iets te kunnen doen.
Door het ontbreken van de tutorial Video raad ik het niet aan een BeaverCraft hobby kit te kopen
