## Buck 110: first popular back lock


The Buck 110 was one of the first large-scale produced pocket knives with a back lock. In fact, this pocket knife made this lock popular. Throughout the years Buck has produced millions of Buck 110 pocket knives.


The 110 Folding Hunter has a solid construction. The 420 HC steel is firmly placed inside the handle, and the handle itself is made from stunning classic materials. With messing bolsters and inlays made from ebony wood.

Any enthusiast knows that Buck works closely with Paul Bos when it comes to the heat treatment of a blade. Bos is an absolute master when it comes to hardening steel and he knows how you can use a type of steel to its full extent.

Prima mes echt een collecter item voor de fijnproever

Heel erg tevreden, ik ben 67 en heb dit mes gehad als snaak van ongeveer14 jaar, dit voelt als thuiskomen.
Heb dit steeds in mijn broekzak, woon 50% in België en Spanje, vooral in Spanje een constant gebruik om alle mogelijke verpakkingen in stukken te snijden die in de containers langs de baan moeten  passen, ook in de tuin op beide plaatsen steeds handig gereedschap.

Erg scherp, perfecte vorm van lemmet, mooi en goed kwaliteit van staal, enig "nadeel" is soms het gewicht  van 205 gram. Dat is geen probleem in de zak van een body warmer als je in de tuin werkt maar is wat veel in een short in het zuiden.

Daar is bij Buck blijkbaar ook een oplossing voor, er bestaat een 110 Hunter Sportsmes van 130 gram of het 110 Hunter LT mes van 90 gram. Identiek qua lemmet en afmetingen maar gemaakt met kunststof materialen wat perfect is voor dagelijks gebruik in het zuiden.

Ook de 110/112 auto (elite)-Mes van Hunter staan nog op de verlanglijst  :-)

Always wanted a buck knife so I bought a buck 110 hunter. It arrived very quickly and packaged very well. On opening my package and checking items I noticed belt sheath it was very thick leather embossed with buck and 110 made to a very very high standard.
On opening the box with my new always wanted buck.....wow it's just amazing in every way. Smooth well machined body with a razor sharp beautiful blade. When it's open with blade locked it's all a perfect fit with no movement anywhere totally solid and very user friendly with the looks of a well made beautiful knife. Will definitely purchase more bucks for my collection
