The **Civivi Elementum Slip Joint** is a compact EDC slipjoint pocket knife. With its compact size and rounded shape, it's a true friend to all! This knife is a variant of the very popular Civivi Elementum. As the name implies, the Civivi Elementum Slip Joint is equipped with a slipjoint-mechanism. This gives the knife a traditional touch and makes it legal to carry in many places.



The Civivi Elementum Slip Joint C18062AJ-2 Satin, Green Micarta, slipjoint pocket knife is a cool EDC knife in the colour green. With its blade length of 7.5 cm, this knife is suitable for daily cutting tasks. For example, opening boxes, peeling an apple, the odd job around the house: this pocket knife can do it all.



You open the Civivi with two hands. To make this easier, there's a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.



## Blade made of Sandvik 14C28N steel
The blade of the Civivi Elementum Slip Joint C18062AJ-2 Satin, Green Micarta, slipjoint pocket knife is made of 14C28N. This is an excellent knife steel from Sweden. It is corrosion resistant, retains its sharpness well, is quite tough and easy to sharpen yourself. What more could you possibly want?



The blade of this knife is enhanced with a 'satin finish'. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.



## Micarta handle

The handle of this Civivi Elementum is made of micarta and measures 10.3 cm in length. Micarta is a great material for pocket knife handles. This material is grippy, relatively lightweight and it looks very cool. It is composed of fabric fibres and synthetic resin. The resulting layers often even make micarta look a bit like wood. However, it is a very stable and strong material.

Perfect. Great fit and finish, great materials. Edges are all rounded up, micarta handle has no imperfections, good action, good sound. Factory grind is good and razor sharp. Good ergonomics. I got this knife as my legal EDC for trips to Germany. (two hand opening, and no locking rules) For its price range this knife is exceptional.
