The **Cold Steel Ranch Boss II 20NPM1** is a large pocket knife, developed for ranchers, cowboys and everyone else looking for a large knife. The shapes come directly from the rich history of the traditional pocket knives. A cool clippoint-blade with a handle that looks a little like a Texas Toothpick.



A large difference is that this knife is enhanced with a liner lock. You open it with two hands, after which a slipjoint offers resistance. After that the linerlock ensures that the knife will never close when you don't want it to. As a result your fingers are safe. Whether you cut open bales of hay, open boxes or prepare a sandwich.



The blade is made from SK5 tool steel. Tough, easy to sharpen and a great choice for a knife with this classic look and feel. Do, however, be careful with rust: SK5 is not completely stainless. So clean and dry it after use, and occasionally add a couple drops of oil. The handle is made from a synthetic material that looks like a type of cow bone with sawcut texture.

Zeer goed mes, ligt fijn in de hand ookal voelt ie wat zwaar aan. Kwaliteit is prima, scherp uit de doos. Ik ben er zeer tevreden mee en overweeg om een tweede aan te schaffen 

Buon coltello, cold steel è una garanzia. Prodotto di fascia economica ma buoni materiali e buona qualità costruttiva. Aspetto classico, ottima la dotazione del fodero in pelle. 

Plus massif que ce que a quoi je m'attendais mais belle pièce, facile a affûter et donne un bon tranchant, que je n'ai pas mis a l'épreuve.

Le système d fermeture est un peu bizarre mais on s'y fait. Il faut pousser la languette d'acier linerlock et elle reste en place et ensuite on peu ranger la lame qui tient encore avec un ressort arrière

 j'espère que c'est un ajustement prévu comme cela qui va rester dans le temps car sinon c'est vraiment pas pratique voir dangereux, le ressort arrière demande une certaine force et avec le pouce sous la lame cela demande de la concentration pour ne pas se blesser.

Je l'ai ouvert et fermé des centaines de fois pour voir si l'ajustement ne partirait pas et pour l'instant ça a l'air de tenir, super.

Wirklich großes Taschenmesser was sauber verarbeitet und einen hochwertigen Eindruck macht. Die Klinge arretiert absolut spielfrei, sitzt bombenfest, im geschlossenen Zustand nicht ganz mittig. Ich habe es leicht nachgeschärft jetzt hat es so richtig biss. Preis/Leistung stimmen hier, kann ich nur empfehlen.
