DMT diamond sharpening stone for the Aligner-kit, Extra Extra Fine

The **DMT diamond sharpening stone** is an ultra-fine sharpening stone to get your knives razor-sharp. This sharpening stone fits the DMT Aligner Kit, but can also be used as a pocket sharpening stone.  

## DMT grit size  
This sharpening stone has a grit size of 3 microns (J3000 grit). This grit size is suitable for sharpening knives that have lost some of their sharpness, and for maintaining the sharpness of your sharp knives. The sharpening stone has a layer of monocrystalline synthetic diamonds. Monocrystalline means that each diamond is comprised of one crystal. Monocrystalline diamond takes longer to wear out than polycrystalline diamond. This makes it the ideal choice for a sharpening stone! 

## Using the DMT  
You can use the DMT sharpening stones with or without water. The advantage of sharpening with water is that it lubricates the stone and removes the sharpening residues (swarf). It's also good to know that a diamond-coated sharpening steel needs to be pre-sharpened. At first it feels very coarse, but this will subside after you've used the steel a couple of times, at which point it will reach its desired level of effect.

Geweldige 'steen' als laatste stap op een DMT Aligner: bereidt de snede goed voor op een Shapton en/of strop.

Pierre inutile, très mauvais ressenti comparé au bleu rouge et verte car celle ci le grain est tellement fin que la lame touche les creux dans la pierre, c’est tout simplement pas bon et pas agréable.

Benutze den Schleifstein auf Grund seiner geringen Größe für unterwegs . Bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden.  Wie immer ein gutes Produkt von DMT

Pierre de bonne qualité, très fine, parfaite pour un tranchant rasoir. 

Très pratique de part sa petite taille, elle tient dans la poche. Impeccable pour rafraîchir le fil de mon couteau de poche. Semble  très solide.
