The **Fenix E09R** is a compact EDC flashlight with an output of 600 lumens. With a weight of 45 grams and a length of 7.9 cm it can easily accompany your keys. You won't even notice it is there. And yet 600 lumens is powerful enough to create a beam distance of 124 metres. You can easily control it with one button.


The Fenix E09R is enhanced with a built-in 800mAh battery. You can recharge it via a port that is safely hidden underneath a sliding part of the body of the flashlight. As such the light is properly protected against dust and water. The Fenix E09R can also be used as you charge it.


## Light modes for the Fenix E09R


The Fenix E09R is enhanced with different light modes with the following amount of lumens:


* Burst: 600 lumens
* High: 300 lumens, average burn time of 1 hour and 30 minutes*
* Medium: 100 lumens, average burn time of 4 hours
* Low: 25 lumens, average burn time of 16 hours
* Moonlight: 3 lumens, average burn time of 70 hours


*If you use the high mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops you can switch back to turbo mode.


The Fenix E09R comes with an USB-C charging cable, a key ring and an additional O-ring.

Meer lumen dan mijn 15 jaar oude Fenix TK15.
Ongelofelijk!

Ik heb deze zaklamp min of meer als extratje bij de Fenix PD36R Pro gekocht, omdat de E09R ook een 5 lumen stand heeft, terwijl de PD36R Pro tenminste 30 lumen oplevert. Uiteindelijk heb ik deze zaklamp meer (zinvol) gebruikt, omdat 's nachts op een camping 5 lumen meer dan voldoende is. De 600 lumen burst is een leuke extra waar je in het donker verder mee kan schijnen dan je van zo'n klein lampje verwacht.

De pluspunten:
- Compact.
- USB-C.
- Lichtopbrengst.
- De draairing om de USB poort te openen is een leuke fidget.
- Voelt kwalitatief en prettig aan.
- Heb hem nog niet op hoeven laden.
- Net klein genoeg om aan een sleutelbos te kunnen (maar dan wordt je bos wel een stukje dikker).

De minpunten:
- Van mij had er ook een 1 lumen stand op gemogen, als het echt donker is dan is 5 lumen soms al veel (niet vervelend veel, maar je denkt wel "minder was ook genoeg geweest").
- De burst mode werkt alleen bij ingedrukt houden van de knop, ik snap niet zo goed waarom dit niet (ook) gewoon een vaste instelling kan zijn, voor mijn gevoel voegt het alleen ongemak toe als je dit wil gebruiken.
- Het lampje wat bij de PD36R Pro ook zit naast de oplaadpoort geeft daar de batterijstatus aan, hier wordt het alleen gebruikt voor het opladen. Ik snap dat hij normaal bedekt is, maar het zou handig zijn om te kunnen checken of het tijd is om hem aan de lader te leggen.
