The **Fenix LR80R** is a very bright flashlight with an output of no less than 18.000 lumens! As such it can create a beam distance of 1130 metres. You can charge it via the 45W USB-C port. This hulk is enhanced with an intelligent sensor. As such it will automatically adjust its output when you light up an object located less than 6 cm away for longer than 1.5 seconds.


The Fenix LR80R works with a built-in 7.2V/12000 mAh Li-ion battery and has two switches. With the left switch you can switch between the six different light modes. With the right switch you can turn on the turbo mode. Hold the switch for a second and you can activate the stroboscope mode. The lock-out function ensures that you won't accidentally turn the light on. You can remove the handle to make sure you can use the Fenix LR80R in many different situations. In addition, the light can handle a fall from up to 1 metre and is protected against water and dust according to the IP68 norm.

### High output mode


* Turbo: 18000 lumens, average burn time of 2 hours*
* High: 12000 lumens, average burn time of 2 hours and 15 minutes
* Medium: 6000 lumens, average burn time of 2 hours and 50 minutes
* Low: 3000 lumens, average burn time of 5 hours and 10 minutes


### Low output mode


* High: 1000 lumens, average burn time of 15 hours and 40 minutes
* Medium: 450 lumens, average burn time of 39 hours
* Low: 150 lumens, average burn time of 92 hours
* Eco: 50 lumens, average burn time of 300 hours
* Strobe: 6000 lumens
* SOS: 150 lumens



*If you use the high mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops you can switch back to turbo mode.

Prachtige en zeer solider lamp.Een aanrader.

Geweldige zaklamp. Vandaag gelijk getest in het bos. Wat een licht komt er vanaf. Ruim een uur op volle kracht gebruik gemaakt van de lamp en dat red hij met gemak. Heel blij mee!

Deze zaklamp geeft tenminste licht.  
Maar dimmen kan hij ook. 
Wel duur maar toch blij met de aankoop 

Op papier is dit een lamp van superlatieven, een gigantische hoeveelheid licht, zowel in de breedte als in de verte; een grote accu en veel lichtstanden. Daar is niets aan gelogen, als je de lamp gaat gebruiken. Maar er is meer. De vele lichtstanden zijn gemakkelijk toegankelijk en verdeeld in 4 standen 'laag' (50 tot 1000 Lumen) en  4 standen hoog (max 18.000 Lumen). Dat is erg praktisch want het voorkomt dat je jezelf en anderen per ongeluk verblindt als je alleen maar even iets wilt bijlichten. De veelzijdigheid in het gebruik van de lamp zit hem dan ook in hoe weinig licht hij kan geven. Voor iedere situatie is er een geschikte lichtstand. 
Opvallend is ook dat je het relatief grote gewicht helemaal niet merkt als je hem gebruikt met de schouderband (meegeleverd) gemonteerd. 
Groot voordeel is ook dat de achterkant vlak is, waardoor hij rechtop kan staan (waarom kunnen niet alle lampen dit?). Dat maakt dat de lamp zeer geschikt is als noodverlichting in huis: zet hem op zijn achterkant, gericht op een wit plafond en je hebt voldoende licht in een ruime woonkamer. Bij 1000 Lumen kan je dan alles doen, 15 uur lang en bij 50 Lumen heb je 300 uur(!) voldoende licht om je weg te vinden in de kamer. Daarnaast heb ik de lamp, geplaatst op zijn achterkant, ook gebruikt in de 6000 Lumen stand toen mijn kleindochter door een ruit was gevallen en ik haar 1e hulp verleende. 
Tel dit allemaal op bij de robuuste bouwkwaliteit, waterdichtheid én de mogelijkheid om hem als powerbank te gebruiken. Het maakt de lamp tot de meest veelzijdige lamp in mijn (ruime) collectie. 

Niemand zal beweren dat dit een EDC-lamp is, maar ik heb hem opvallend vaak bij mij, met name als ik de hond uitlaat in een donker bos of als ik 's-nachts onderweg ben naar een crisis (ik ben psychiatrisch hulpverlener). OK, hij is niet goedkoop, vrij duur zelfs, maar dan heb je ook wat. Mijn ervaring met Fenix lampen is dat ze een lange levensduur hebben (>20 jr) en dat maakt ze op langere termijn effectief weer goedkoper (los van het feit dat duurzaamheid een kwaliteit op zichzelf is). Toplamp dus, zowel op papier als in de praktijk, een zeer buikbare lamp!
