The **Fenix SILVGLOW** is a compact keychain torch that offers excellent performance despite its small size. With a maximum light output of 100 lumens and a weight of only 35 grams, this torch is the ideal companion for on the go. The SILVGLOW's IP68 rating makes it dustproof and waterproof. This makes it very suitable for a variety of conditions such as during an evening walk, searching for keys in the dark or as an emergency light during a power outage.

## Battery of the Fenix SILVGLOW

The SILVGLOW runs on a single AAA battery. A non-rechargeable AAA alkaline battery is included. In addition, the torch is compatible with NiMH batteries. Please note: the flashlight itself is not rechargeable. Rechargeable batteries like the NiMH batteries need to be charged outside the torch.

Kleinste waterdichte (IPx8) zaklamp die ik heb kunnen vinden. Geeft voldoende licht voor een enkele AAA batterij. Hij is wel wat glad en dat met dit kleine formaat maakt laten vallen makkelijk. Het had fijn geweest als er een koordje bijgeleverd zou zijn.
Daarnaast doe je de zaklamp aan en uit door de achterkant open en dicht te draaien. Ik kan me eigenlijk niet voorstellen dat dit de slijtage van de rubber o-ring (die zorgt voor waterdichtheid) nou echt ten goede komt.
Maar voor dit prijsje is dit een hele prima zaklamp!

Ik heb ook de gekleurde, dus de collectie is compleet.

Voordelen:
Mooie afwerking, ribbels geven betere grip voor bediening.
Kan op de achterkant staan, zelfs met de sleutelring geïnstalleerd, dankzij een extra uitsparing aan de achterkant. Aan de sleutelring kan bijvoorbeeld een polsband worden vastgemaakt.
Prettige kleur licht, warmer dan van veel andere leds.
Laagste stand prettig voor binnenshuis zoeken zonder verblinding.

Nadelen:
Om de zaklamp betrouwbaar uit te schakelen, moet de voorkant wat verder losgedraaid worden, anders kan bij druk op de voorkant de lamp toch even aangaan.
Bediening door draaien kan meer slijtage geven aan de O-ring, daarom goed gesmeerd houden.
De zaklamp voelt wat zwaar aan, naar mijn mening.

Overig:
Smallere spil, daardoor minder snel verblindend voor anderen en mijzelf.

Prima robuust lichtje voor aan de sleutelbos, geeft nog verbazingwekkend veel licht met een fijne warme tint.
