**Locking mechanism**  

This knife comes equipped with a locking mechanism on the blade (type: back-lock). This locking mechanism guarantees safety and, what is more, a heavy spring is not required to activate the knife. This special feature makes this pocket knife light and easy to operate.

At first glance, the knives from the Fontenille Pataud Nature series appear to be more expensive than knives produced by other manufacturers. However, this price already includes all the extra options, which are not included in the price for other brands. These extra options are listed below:

Een juweel van een mes wat prachtig is afgewerkt.
Voelt zeer solide aan en toch niet te zwaar van gewicht.
Is zijn geld zeker waard want kwaliteit wint altijd,en als je messen verzameld moet je er zeker een van dit merk hebben.


Voordat ik definitief over ben gegaan tot aankoop heb ik eerst contact gehad met de klantenservice. Deze heb ik als zeer vriendelijk en servicegericht ervaren en heeft zeker bijgedragen tot de definitieve aankoopbeslissing. Het mes werd op tijd bezorgd en voldoet aan alle verwachtingen. Werkelijk een prachtig gebruiksvoorwerp met luxe look & feel. Helemaal tevreden.

Dit is mijn eerste Laguiole mes en ik ben zeer onder de indruk van zowel de 'looks' als de kwaliteit. Een echte stijlicoon en fantastisch afgewerkt. Het mes voelt zeer solide aan. Er zit geen speling op het lockingsmechanisme in geopende toestand, het staal is gemakkelijk te slijpen en blijft bij dagelijks gebruik ook lang scherp. De service van Knives and Tools was perfect zoals altijd. Een werkdag later al door de bus. Zeer servicegericht, gebaseerd op vele ervaringen uit het verleden.

prachtig mes, heb hem cadeau gekregen voor mijn verjaardag. ik was in eerste instantie niet helemaal happy, maar knives & tools heeft dit zeer voortvarend en uitermate origineel opgelost, chapeau !!
