 The **Helle Bleja 625** is an all-round outdoor pocket knife. The curly birch handle feels great in hand. The handle was shaped, polished and oiled by hand to give it it's unique character.


The blade is made from laminated stainless steel. This is strong and stainless. You open the blade with two hands. The solid backlock keeps the blade in place when opened. In between the wooden scales you will find solid steel liners. As such the Bleja is stronger than its predecessors.



The knife comes with a leather belt sheath.


**Maintenance**  

Both the handle and the blade need to be dried with a soft towel if they get wet. We also recommended occasionally adding wax or oil.


The sheath should occasionally be impregnated with a colourless agent (grease or wax) to make sure it stays flexible. Dry the sheath carefully at room temperature if it gets wet.



All Helle knives are made and finished by hand. As such each knife is a unique masterpiece because every pattern is different.

Ik had dit mes aangeschaft voor dagelijkse taken en bushcraft lessen die ik plan te volgen omdat ik mijn opa zaliger zijn mes niet meer wenste te gebruiken. Het resultaat was een keuze voor dit magnifieke mes en ik ven er erg van onder de indruk! Helle staat voor kwaliteit en de customer service van Knives and Tools idem. Echt een aanrader!

Très beau produit, correspond parfaitement à mes attentes. Livraison rapide et sans problème.

Prachtig outdoormes. Vergelijkbaar met een vaststaan outdoormes in stevigheid, maar dan invouwbaar en minder ruimte innemend. Met een zeer solide lederen foudraal uit 1 stuk leer gemaakt!
Het lemet is prachtig afgewerkt, met een zeer scherpvast intern staal als snijvlak en aan de buitenkanten soepeler staal, waardoor het als geheel heel erg sterk is.
De handvatten zijn van mooi kronkelberk gemaakt, deze met de stalen linings zijn iets minder glad afgewerkt, maar met een wat schuurpapier met verschillende groftes heel mooi te maken. Dit is niet erg vanwege de prijs die je ervoor moet betalen. Al met al een heel erg mooi mes!

Top mes, een zakmes geschikt voor veel bushcraft toepassingen. 
Helle maakt tegenwoordig perfect afgewerkte messen, in het verleden was daar nog wel eens een wat minder goede afwerking. Dit deed niets af aan de werking en het gebruik, maar ja, het oog wil ook wat. 
De afwerking is nu echt heel goed, het zal dan ook niet het laatste Helle mes zijn wat ik koop bij K&T.

Hallo,

leider habe ich ein Modell erhalten, was nicht dem üblichen Helle-Standard entspricht.
Das Messer war nicht richtig scharf. Die Sicherung rastet nicht zuverlässug ein. Dies ist mir aber erst beim Arbeiten aufgefallen. 
Beim Versuch das Messer zu zerlegen, um die Sicherung zu reparieren, splitterte das Holz um eines der Bohrlöcher. Einfach nur beim Rausdrehen. Ich bekam das Messer auch nicht zerlegt, da mir bei der dritten Schraube der Bit abbrach. Das ist nun jedoch nicht die Schuld des Messers, sondern wohl die mangelnde Qualität des Bits. Dennoch sei hier erwähnt, dass es sich bei den Schrauben um Torx 9 und Torx 6 handelt. Das ist recht klein und schon als Feinmechanik zu werten. Somit wollte ich die übrigen zwei Schrauben wieder einsetzen, die ich jedoch nicht wieder so stark anziehen konnte, wie es nötig gewesen wäre. 

Das Messer wandert nun in eine dunkle Ecke, bis mir eine Lösung dafür einfällt oder ich es vergesse. 

Schade ist, dass das Messer echt schön ist. Einen tollen Löffel konnte ich damit auch schnitzen. Nachdem ich es geschärft hatte, war es auch rasiermesserscharf.
