The **Helle Raud M** is a sturdy Scandinavian pocket knife. The design is minimalist, as we've come to expect from Helle. But don't let the small size of this knife mislead you. With a blade thickness of 2.7 mm, it's been made to be used. The interchangeable pocket clip allows you to easily carry the Helle Raud with you. 

## Helle Raud handle:

The handle of the Helle Raud is made from red coloured beechwood. On the M version, the handle has enough space for four fingers, while the S version has enough space for three. This means you can grasp it firmly in your hand. The minimalistic finger grooves make the Helle Raud very comfortable to hold. 

## Helle Raud blade:

The Helle Raud's relatively thick blade is made from 12C27 steel. This is a hard steel that isn't prone to easily rust or form unwanted spots. In addition, you can also easily sharpen it yourself if the knife starts to lose some of its sharpness over time. The blade has a classic Scandi grind and a solid back lock, so your fingers are always kept safe during use. 

## Maintaining Helle knives

Both the handle and the blade need to be dried with a soft towel if they get wet. We also recommend occasionally adding wax or oil. All Helle knives are made and finished by hand. This can lead to subtle differences, making each knife a unique masterpiece.

Heel blij met dit mes dat ik al langer op het oog had. Naast mijn geliefde Helle Nordlys heb ik de Raud M nu om iedere dag mee te kunnen nemen. Het formaat is precies goed om makkelijk bij je te dragen. En uitgeklapt is dit best een serieuze folder. Ik heb geen kleine handen en deze Raud M is dus een goede match. 

Zeer mooi compact mes, mooi afgewerkt. Past in de binnenzak. Sterk en robuust.
