This **Hultafors 325 Anniversary Limited Edition Axe** celebrates the 325-year anniversary of forging in Hults Bruk, Sweden. The design is inspired by some of Hults Bruk's favourite models from the past. The axe comes with leather key ring with a ship's nail. In 1697, people began forging this type of nail in Hults Bruk.

## The head of the Hultafors 325 Anniversary Axe

The 600 gram head has a classic Yankee shape. This shape was brought over from America by master blacksmith Ekelund around 1870, and it soon became one of the most popular models. The head is hand-forged from Swedish quality steel and finished with a premium grind. The green colour refers back to Hultafors axes from the mid-20th century. 

## The handle of the Hultafors 325 Anniversary Axe

The red handle was widely seen on Hultafors axes in the second half of the 20th century. Additionally, the label and shape of the handle are based on Hultafors' oldest documented axes, found in a catalogue from the late 19th century. The axe comes with a sheath made of Swedish leather. All in all, a cool axe that showcases Hultafors' long history very nicely.
