I love this axe, it’s just the right size and weight for hiking and camping, fits beautifully on the side of my pack. It makes short work of even hardened dry wood. Very happy with this purchase

Beautiful made. Beautiful balance. Razor sharp. Extremely versatile. Hedge laying, carving, shaping, notching, kindle splitting, tinder sticks - it does it all. Serious tool made by craftsmen designed by artists. Makes you want to look after it.

Very pleased with the axe overall. Sharp enough straight out of the box and feels very good to use both chopping, splitting and choked up. Only reason for the 4 stars is that the handle at the Eye was finished a little poorly, however this takes nothing away from the function of the axe.
