The **Hultafors STK Chisel Knife** is a handy chisel knife for carpenters. The Hultafors Chisel is the ideal tool for many tasks, from sharpening a new tip on your carpenter's pencil to clearing out a small recess for a hinge. Usually you don't have normal chisels in the pocket of your overalls. But you can hang the sheath of this chisel knife on your overalls so that you always have it close at hand. Perfect!



The blade is made from Japanese carbon steel. This is a sturdy steel that is easy to sharpen. It isn't stainless, though, so take care around moisture and acids. Contrary to what you might expect from a chisel, the Hultafors Chisel Knife is sharpened on both sides of the blade. However, the grind is very thin so the chisel is delivered very sharp. The handle is made from polypropylene. This is a durable plastic that will last for years and years. 



The knife comes with a handy sheath so you can carry it on a belt up to 4 cm wide. You can also hang it from a button on your overalls. To do this, unclip the belt loop, slide the button in and then click it into place. Very practical!

Donne une très bonne impression de solidité (Hultafors) ! Bonne prise en main (à sec, pas eu le temps de tout tester), pas de problème pour le porter à la ceinture, il n'inquiète personne une fois hors de son étui (c'est un outil). Fait du bon boulot même en forêt. Et vraiment pas cher... Merci à la charmante dame très réactive suite à une erreur dans l'adresse de livraison ! Bonne continuation ! ;)

I never knew I needed this one.
It fills out more than purpose really good. I have something to cut and scrape on the same tool. 
The proportions are just great and comfortable. 
Not too big not too small. 

Prezzo imbattibile e molto robusto, ha bisello da entrambi i lati quindi è piu un coltello che uno scalpello, al contrario dell' analogo Mora.
L' affilatura con cui arriva non è perfetta, ma questo non è uno strumento di precisione ed è pensato per un uso molto duro, anche picchiando col martello, quindi non lo giudico un difetto.

the blade has a double bevel so if it's a chisel your looking for this is not the tool but the price is good for a hard wearing tool I have two of them
