These need more work to get an edge but the results are really excellent. I wasn’t sure I could justify the price but the results are so much better than the cheaper whetstones (I have had a few). I can recommend

This is my first set of good stones and has replaced a cheep set I used to try to learn the skill of hand sharpening. I have tried others but these Naniwa pro's are great stones. The feedback from them is really impressive. I wish I had bought them earlier! (My main use is sharpening Carbon steel kitchen knifes, but I find they work well with a range of other steals as well. Note I do not tried anything greater than 62HRC though so cant comment) One plus about KandT's The 400 stone arrived broken into two pieces. This was replaced instantly with no fuss. I was unfortunate, but I have no complaints only praise :-)
