The **Real Steel G-Slip Knivesandtools Exclusive** is a modern slipjoint pocket knife, designed by Ostap Hel. The G-Slip is light-weight, razor-sharp and legal in many countries. You namely open it with two hands, and a complete lock is missing. There is only a slipjoint that offers some resistance.


This is a special **Knivesandtools Exclusive** edition of the Real Steel G-Slip. It is enhanced with light-weight micarta scales and a blade made from VG10. This configuration can only exclusively be purchased at Knivesandtools. This knife comes with a special Knivesandtools Exclusive sticker, which was specifically made for this knife.


The great thing about the Real Steel G-slip is that the slipjoint is enhanced with a separate half-stop. This half-stop is not a new concept. People have been adding this for hundreds of years. Real Steel, however, did one thing slightly different. The half-stop comes earlier than the regular half-stops. As such your fingers are safer, and it enables you to close the knife with one hand.


The handle is made from micarta. A composite material made from linen and synthetic resin. Micarta feels great in hand thanks to the textile fibres. Micarta also absorbs the greases from your hands making the material darker. As such each knife will become unique in time. The blade is made from Japanese VG10 steel. This is a great type of steel that is easy to sharpen. So very user-friendly!


The slim deep-carry pocket clip finishes the knife! As such you can discretely carry it in your pocket.

Incroyable couteau.
Etant un grand fan du micarta, l'achat de ce G-slip ne m'a définitivement pas déçu. Le clip est réversible (même si pas assez profond a mon gout).
En VG10, la lame est rasoir a son arrivée.
Le slip-joint est très efficace et agréable.
La rainure pour l'ouverture est aussi très design et ne gène en rien la coupe d’ingrédients, contrairement a ce que j'imaginais en voyant les photos.

Grosse déception en revanche, il y a un cruel manque d'attention au niveau de l'usinage des tetes de vis (lame et clip). Les miennes étaient déjà déformées a la réception. 
De plus, les vis parallèles sont toutes les deux mobiles par rapport aux plaquettes. ça implique que pour dévissez votre lame/clip, vous devez simultanément dévissez un coté tout en maintenant immobile le coté opposé (sinon les 2 vis tournent ensemble). 
Ces deux problèmes mis ensemble rendent la manipulation du couteau très difficile et particulièrement désagréable.

Très beau couteau, très agréable, j'adore le micarta. C'est un couteau léger , classe, très élégant, parfaitement bien affûté, bon acier VG10, à la fermeture de la lame un stop au 3/4 ce qui est très sécurisant, le clip poche est de type trombone positionné haut ce qui est parfait. Assez polyvalent ce couteau se situe mieux dans un environnement urbain car sa forme n'est pas agressive et il sera socialement bien accepté.
