The sleek **Roselli Axe hand axe** is an effective axe to cut kindling or for the finer woodworking tasks. The large axe head and the curve of the blade ensure that the blade does not get caught in the wood. Because of the shape of the head you can place your hand close to the blade, making the more detailed tasks a piece of cake. With the straight edge and the thicker knob this axe feels great in hand. All Roselli axes are made by hand in Harmoinen, Finland. Stunning old-fashioned craftsmanship with a sleek, modern design.


The handle is made from birch wood and coated with linseed oil. As such you will always have enough grip, even in wet circumstances. The Roselli Axe hand axe comes with leather sheath made from Finnish leather enhanced with a practical loop in order to hang it from your belt or backpack. Because the axes are made by hand they are all unique. The pattern and the texture of the handle can diverge from the photographs.

Une super hache,super prise en main et capable de faire du petit boulot comme du plus gros,vraiment content.

Très bonne hache, avec une ergonomie irréprochable et un look d'enfer ! 
Je m'en sers pour refendre du bois pour la cheminée en remplacement d'une Fiskars X7.

La première impression lors de la prise en main est la légèreté du manche. Lors de la frappe, cela donne un excellent basculement de la tête qui est très lourde et permet ainsi une violente entrée dans le bois. Du fait du choc et de sa large tête, le bois ne résiste pas !

Le manche en bouleau marque rapidement ; Sa couleur claire se tâche dès le premier contact avec une partie sale (billot, tas de bois, etc.) et il garde les coups en cas de choc. 
Pour éviter de marquer ce manche, je l'ai protégé par un gainage en paracorde au niveau de la tête, juste la largeur d'une main et je l'entretiens avec de l'huile de lin. 

En bout de manche, il y a comme un pommeau qui permet une bonne prise en main mais la sécuriser avec une dragonne ne serait pas un luxe lors de l'utilisation à une main et quand elle est glissante (eau, poussière). Un trou en bout de manche aurait été apprécié. 

La maintenir au niveau de la tête est un vrai plaisir si l'on veut s'en servir à écorcer le bois ou pour des petites découpes de précision.

Son tranchant est remarquable et tient étonnamment bien dans le temps. Je l'utilise depuis un mois de manière intensive sur du bois plutôt dur mais je n'ai pas eu besoin de l'affuter.

La partie de la tête qui n'est pas protégée par le revêtement noir se pique de rouille mais cela n'est pas gênant pour qui en prendra soin. 

Bref, je l'ai adoptée avec un grand plaisir.
