The **Rough Ryder Copperhead** is a cool, traditional pocket knife. Characterizing for the Copperhead is that the bolster protrudes a little. As such the sharp edge at the tang of the blade is covered when the knife is closed. This model is enhanced with a clippoint blade and a skinner blade. You open both with two hands and a slipjoint prevents unintentional closing, even though it won't completely lock the blades. As such you can legally carry this pocket knife in many places in Europe.



## T10 carbon steel


T10 is a type of carbon steel. This means that it is easy to sharpen razor-sharp. But please note: T10 is not stainless! It will discolour in time and form a patina. And if you don't treat it at all, it will even start to rust. So clean it after use and occasionally add a few drops of oil to the blade. Carbon steel such as this is really a traditional option: in the past all knives were made from this type of steel.

The handle is made from Denim micarta This is micarta made from denim. Layers of textile on top of each other, drenched in a strong resin to make sure it becomes strong enough to function as handle material. It looks amazing!

La plus petite lame est extrêmement dure à ouvrir, même en huilant bien le couteau

Bon couteau, rustique, robuste, la finition est bonne sauf une lame pas centré mais j'ai pu la redresser un peu pour qu'elle ne frotte pas. J'aime bien l'ouverture des lames en deux temps, les 2 lames en T10 sont de véritable rasoir (mon doigt s'en souviens). Je ne suis finalement pas fan du micarta couleur denim avec les mitres dorée mais c'est un détail. Le genre de couteau qu'on n'as peur d'utiliser. 

Heel goed afgewerkt. Blade centering perfect. Goede retentie door sterke veren, maar zeker niet te zwaar. Blade grind ook goed. Scherp geleverd. Gapping /stepping minimaal. Alles mooi glad. Prachtig mes voor het geld.

Made a very nice 21st birthday gift. Looked and felt very sturdy and well crafted out of the box.
