The **Rough Ryder Fixed Blade** is a cool fixed knife. A large hunting knife. You will immediately notice the handle when you look at this knife. Made from wood and resin, the colour combination is what makes this knife look so unique. The knife comes with a small sharpening stone and a nice nylon sheath. 

## 440A steel

440A is a fine, popular type of steel. It is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. It won't retain its sharpness for a really long time, but this is compensated by the fact that 440A is quite tough and easy to sharpen. This means you only occasionally have to maintain it a little to make sure you always keep a sharp knife close.

## Resin/Wood handle

The handle is made from wood with a blue-coloured synthetic resin. The combination makes the whole look even more unique. Both are lightweight materials. The pattern in the wood and the resin are different per knife, making each knife unique.

Rough Ryder Knives is a brand with a rich history. For over 25 years this brand is known for its excellent price-quality ratio. Like Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Ryders these knives were named after, these knives are ready to be used. The prices are very appealing. Of course this means you sometimes need to compromise which means that occasionally you could find there to be something wrong with the finish. Nothing major, and definitely in line with the prices. In case of natural materials such as wood, bone and horn it is possible to end up with small scratches around the pins. It is simply a part of the deal in this price range.

Zeer tevreden met dit vaste mes, goede kwaliteit zonder mankementen geleverd. Mes was iets groter dan ik had verwacht, maar wel leuk als hebbedingetje. 

Ein schönes, großes Messer für die Vitrine. Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältniss. 

The blade isn't straight and has a sloppy finish we're it meets the handle it's a good looking knife but I don't think I'd use it out camping I feel it might break I buy them to use so a bit of a let down
