This is my first attempt at sharpening. Good angles but as a newby I have worn down the shoulder of the guide, thus changing the sharpening angle, slightly. Don't feel confident that after using the guide I will be able to hold the blade at the right angle.
I bought one of the angle-holding sharpening systems after this, could have saved £40 for the stone and £10 for the guide.
Would still like to build one myself that is more exact and rigid.
