Fire starter that works with the power of the sun

The **Solar Brother Suncase V2** is an efficient and compact fire starter for all outdoor activities: survival, camping, hiking, mountain climbing etc. It is a perfect lighter when spending time on the road. It is very small (7 cm) and weighs next to nothing (only 12 grams). You are always capable of building a fire, even when it is windy out. The only thing you will need is the sun.


 With the Suncase flammable materials glow within seconds: straw, twigs, wood, coal, tobacco, paper or a lighting fuse. The parabolic mirrors concentrate the sunlight. You can also use the Suncase as a lighter. It can be used with BIC mini(c)J lighters, or lighters of the same size (62x21x11cm).


 Using it is easy. Open the mirrors and aim them at the sun. Aim the rays at the heating point and the material you have secured in the Suncase will start to glow. The main advantage of the Suncase is that it can handle water, wind and cold temperatures. The Suncase will always work.

Petit gadget que j'adore. 
Très impressionné par la vitesse de combustion lorsqu'il y a du soleil. 
Objet Très pratique et ludique 

trés léger , trés efficace , trouver le bon angle avec le soleil est le plus long mais une fois tous bien aligné, l'amadou prend feu trés vite, en revanche plastique assez fragile, à faire attention.

Déçu par cet outil, que je trouvais génial sur la présentation. Je ne l'ai pas renvoyé car il fonctionne quand même et peut s'avérer utile en cas de nécessité. 
C'est  un poids plume qui ne prend vraiment pas de place au fond du sac.
Mais une loupe basique fait aussi bien...
