The **Bahco PG-12-F, pruning shears** have a narrow cutting head for cutting flowers, herbs and shrubs. These shears are mainly intended for pruning work in the garden and are suitable for cutting branches with a thickness of up to 20 millimetres. 

The handles of the Bahco PG-12-F are made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic. It has a sturdy look and feel to it. Especially in cold weather conditions. The locking mechanism is easy to activate with one hand. Thanks to the special sharpening process used, these secateurs remain sharp for a long time. 

## Maintaining your shears

We recommend cleaning the shears after each use. They can start to rust after exposure to moisture, especially if the shears are very dirty. For that reason it won't hurt to clean them after use and add a drop of oil. And by using oil, you're also making sure the hinge moves easily. A small effort, especially when you realize what a joy it is to use these shears.
