The Skerper Basic sharpening pen is great to use on the road. The diamond steel sharpens pocket knives, serrated knives and fish hooks. When the steel is moved inside the casing, the overall size is no larger than that of an average pen. Ideal for sharpening on the go!

The aluminum casing houses a small diamond sharpening steel, which is straight on one side and flat on the other. This will sharpen your knives with a straight edge, also called plain-edge. The back of the straight edge has a small groove which can sharpen fish hooks.

The other side of the diamond steel runs on an angle and since it is conical, you can sharpen serrated blades with it. The steel can sharpen serrations with a width of 1.8 up to 6.5 mm.

To start sharpening you have to loosen the cuff around the end so the diamond steel pops out. When you tighten it again the steel is fixated. By extending the steel completely you can turn it and decide which side you would like to use.
