The **Böker Trapper Whiskey 112540** is a classic gentleman's knife which has been produced according to this pattern for over 100 years. With this Trapper Böker took another step back in time. The blade is namely made from C75 carbon steel. Not stainless, but like how they used to make it. Even easier to sharpen razor-sharp, which is a great advantage. Carbon steel also forms a patina in time. It changes colour because of fruit acids and moisture. That is why a couple drop of oil once in a while will keep it in great shape.



## Handle made from a whiskey barrel


The remarkable thing about this knife is that the handle is made from oak wood. And not just any oak wood: oak wood taken from a whiskey barrel. So wood that comes with a story. Like the Trapper it is now a part of.



You open this knife with two hands and when opened the slipjoint makes sure the knife doesn't close when you don't want it to. Please note: it doesn't completely lock the blade like a backlock!
