The **Böker Stockman Whiskey 117479** is a classic gentleman's knife. Its design looks friendly and traditional. The Stockman pattern has been produced for many years by many brands. Few, however, are able to create such a nice and subtle Stockman like Böker.



With this Barlow Böker took another step back in time. The blade is namely made from C75 carbon steel. Not stainless, but like how they used to make it. Even easier to sharpen razor-sharp, which is a great advantage. Carbon steel also forms a patina in time. It changes colour because of fruit acids and moisture. That is why a couple drops of oil once in a while will keep it in great shape.



## Handle made from a whiskey barrel


The remarkable thing about this knife is that the handle is made from oak wood. And not just any oak wood: oak wood taken from a whiskey barrel. So wood that comes with a story. Like the Stockman it is now a part of.



You open this knife with two hands and when opened the slipjoint makes sure the knife doesn't close when you don't want it to. Please note: it doesn't completely lock the blade like a backlock!
