The **Case Trapper** is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers.

You open this Case knife with two hands. To make this a bit easier, there's a nail nick. This gives you just that extra bit of grip with your fingernail. This knife doesn't have a full lock, only a slipjoint mechanism. This mechanism provides enough resistance to ensure the tool won't snap shut as you're using it. But if you push on the back of the blade, it will close.



You open the Case Knives with two hands. To make this easier, there's a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.



## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel
The blade is made of Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless steel that is actually the same as 420HC steel. This steel allows for fast sharpening, making it easy to maintain a sharp edge.



The blade has been polished, this is a premium blade finish that leaves no room for error. A polished blade ensures minimal friction while cutting, making the knife cut like a dream.



## Handle made from bone

The handle of this Case Knives Smooth Yellow Bone is made from bone. Typically, cow bone is used for this purpose. Manufacturers often give this material an interesting colour and texture. It is a material that has been used for knife handles and other tools for a very long time.
