The **Condor Zolya** is a strong yet relatively small bushcraft knife. The Zolya knife originates from Peru's Amazon rainforest. In that environment, a machete is essential and the knife that accompanies it must be versatile, durable and compact. This knife was designed by Nemanja Bogdanov, who drew inspiration from the Serbian lowlands, where agriculture and war have shaped the local population. The result is a practical knife with a curved design that feels great in hand.

## Condor Zolya 1095 carbon steel blade

The blade of the Condor Blue River Knife is made from 1095 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle quite a bit. 1095, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle.

## Condor Zolya micarta handle

The handle of the Condor Zolya is made from micarta. This is an incredibly strong type of material that feels great in hand and is incredibly light-weight. It is made from canvas and synthetic resin. At first glance the micarta might look a little pale, but after using it, the oils in your hands will make sure the micarta will become darker. It takes over the traces of use, making the knife uniquely yours!
