The **ESEE Rat Match** is a handy firesteel, with a compact size. You use it to make fire. For extra effectiveness, the firesteel is made up of two materials: the silver part is made from magnesium, the dark half is made from ferrocerium.

 To start a fire, scrape a little magnesium into your tinder bundle to ignite it with the ferrocerium side. The magnesium part is enhanced with a lanyard eye with a diameter of 3 mm.
