The **Felco 5** is a reliable, comfortable, lightweight and sturdy pair of pruning shears with handles made of forged steel and blades made of high-quality hardened steel. This model is slightly bigger, longer and sturdier than the Felco 2, 4 and 6. As a result, the Felco 5 is also suitable for those with large hands. You can cut branches up to 25 millimetres thick with these pruning shears. 

## Take good care of your Felco pruners

We recommend cleaning the pruners after each use. They can start to rust after exposure to moisture, especially if the shears are very dirty. For that reason it won't hurt to clean them after use and add a drop of oil. And by using oil, you're also making sure the hinge moves easily. A small effort, especially when you realize how much pleasure the use of these shears offers. A win-win situation! 

## Felco: made in Switzerland 

The assembly of Felco shears is carefully done by hand in the factory in Geneveys-sur-Coffrane in Switzerland. The adjustment and packaging is even done by hand, with the same precision. As such Felco shears are delivered in perfect condition and are perfectly adjusted. And, as applies to all Felco tools, there are also spare parts available to guarantee a longer lifespan.
