Fenix PD35R rechargeable flashlight, 1700 lumens

Bought after a lot or research and have not been disappointed - in fact, it's probably more torch than I'll need! I can't speak to the battery life or longevity of the product but initial use has shown then light to be super bright and I would estimate the throw is easily achieving the manufactures specs. The only niggle I have is the mode-switch can be accidentally pressed when turning the torch on or off. Design flaw, or handling error? I'm leaning towards the latter. I was between this or the PD35 v3 but ultimately went for this as the 35 needs to be turned on with tail switch before using the switch on the body and IIRC this one is marginally more performant. Fit and finish of the product is brilliant and I'm sure it'll last me a longtime. I bought this torch for just under £100 (incl. postage) from K&T at a time when Amazon were selling for just over £90 but opted to support K&T because of the amazing customer service I have received on other items.
