The **Forge de Laguiole CPMOIN cheese set** is an elegant and sophisticated set with a cheese slicer and cheese knife. Traditional designs, modern finishes.

The cheese knife is suitable for both soft and hard cheese. Thanks to the micro serrations in the blade, you can easily cut through a hard rind. The holes in the blade prevent slices of soft cheese from sticking to the knife. The cheese slicer cuts thin slices of cheese, and the long tip means that the slices stay nicely intact. You can also use this tip as a palette knife, spreading knife, or for scooping up cubes of cheese. 

## Forge de Laguiole cheese set material

This cheese set is made from olive wood and matted stainless steel. Olive wood is a light-coloured wood with a natural, detailed grain with dark lines. This ensures that each knife is unique. In terms of steel, matted stainless steel has been used. This creates a muted, graceful look. Matted steel is also less quick to show fingerprints or other stains.

Both the cheese slicer and the cheese knife are made by hand. In the tradition of Laguiole knives, the cheese knife features the well-known shepherd's cross. This is a reference to the legend of Catholic shepherds who, during their journeys to Spain, were far away from a chapel or church but still wanted to pray. They would put the knife, with the cross pointing at them, in the ground in front of them in order to say prayers. You will find the distinctive Laguiole bee on the end of the cheese knife.
