The **Gerber Controller Sengo Salt fillet knife 31-003866** is a fixed fillet knife for anglers. For the Controller series, Gerber worked with highly experienced anglers to come up with the perfect design. The blade shape of the Sengo is inspired by a Japanese Gyuto. It's suitable for cutting medium-sized fish.

The thin blade is slightly flexible to make the task a little easier. Gerber used 9Cr18MoV steel because it is a robust, sharp and stainless steel. The blade is also easy to clean thanks to its highly polished finish.

This Controller Sengo is part of the Salt collection and can be recognized by the blue handle. The knives from the Salt collection are mainly suitable for saltwater fish. Gerber enhanced these knives with SALT Rx. This is a coating on the blade that reduces the chance of corrosion even more.

The Gerber Controller Sengo has a very well thought-out handle. The handle is made from multiple materials. TPE: thermoplastic elastomer, and FRN: fibreglass-reinforced nylon. Both materials provide you with plenty of grip in humid surroundings. The entire handle also has a texture. This texture, in combination with the finger grooves, provides plenty of grip.

The sheath is also excellent. The generous ventilation holes ensure that the sheath can be rinsed out after use. The knife clicks tightly into the sheath and is kept in place by the buckle.
