This knife certainly matches the reputation of the company. So far it does fit well to it's design purpose. A very useful robust outdoor knife, but pretty adept and surprisingly refined when used for food prep. Not too much work to put a really sharp edge to it considering it's stainless steel with a scandi blade. One very small niggle (and I've had the same with a Martiini knife) is that the tip of the blade, when inserted into the sheath, can slip into the little gap between the plastic liner and the leather outer. Easily sorted with a strip of leather, curled into a ring shape and inserted into the sheath to prevent the tip heading in the wrong direction. Overall I'm delighted with it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a good quality knife that will cover both working with wood and food prep that's also easy to keep clean and hygienic.
